I have been talking up Focus T25 all over the place lately. I have tried two of the workouts so far and I can honestly say that I LOVE this program! I know a lot of people have seen the Insanity infomercials and think it would be great if they could do it, but are too afraid that they won’t be able to keep up or finish the workout. Focus T25 is all of the awesomeness of Shaun T, but at a pace that anyone can do!
The workouts are challenging, I’m not going to lie about that. I have been a ball of sweat at the end of them. But, it is something I think anyone can do. The best part about this workout is that there is one woman modifying all of the moves. Can’t do a burpee? That’s OK, she modifies it for you! Even if you follow the modified workout you will still be sweating and getting a great workout. If you want the challenge of Insanity, then just follow Shaun and the other three people in the video.
You do each move for about a minute, and he builds you up to the most challenging level of the move. Then you’re on to the next move, so you’re never bored. After a few moves, you go into “Burnout” where you really try to push yourself, but remember, there’s always the modifier! At the end of the 25 minutes, there’s a 2 minute 25 second stretch period.
